Welcome to QuietHide I started making QuietHide holsters for a couple reasons. While they can be made for any handgun. I came about this design and construction method, because I wasn't happy with what was available on the market for my Thompson Center Contenders, or Encores. ![]() The number one reason, all the others that I'm aware of are too noisy. I use a liner that substantially quiets nylon and almost makes leather dead silent. The typical nylon holsters on the market, use a 3 layer system with closed cell foam sandwiched for padding. This produces a "drum" effect. And traditional 8-10oz. leather squeeks when weight shifts. I use a 2 layer system, whereas the liner acts as a "muffler", cushions the handgun, as well it wicks moisture, and is very solvent resistant. The soft face, is very finish friendly... [Read More]
